Back seat camera mount

I deliberately delayed this until the estate car (a BMW 545i, series “E61”, also running on LPG) arrived.

As my Gorilla Pod rip-off was torn apart by my son I salvaged the camera mount. The wood was lying around anyway. With a bit of luck (and a slit at the right position) you can drill a press fit tight enough to drive around – if you fail, you can still use some J-B Weld. 😉

In contrast to the full scale “comfort seats” at the front the headrests at the back could be pulled out to mount this.

Did it work? Well… it is a bit shaky, as you can see here (ADAC driver training):

Just for comparison: this was filmed with a Transcend Drivepro 200 in the successor.
